Tomb Raider animated series adds two voice actors to the cast
Square Enix has made several announcements regarding the Grave robber series Thursday, including new casting information for the upcoming animated series which hits Netflix later this year.

In a new article on the series website, the company and Grave robber Animated series showrunner Tasha Huo has announced that Allen Maldonado has joined the cast as Zip, while Earl Baylon will join the series to voice Jonah Maiava. Maldonado (Project power) is best known for his role as Curtis in the hit TV series Blackish and recently starred in Maya and the Three, while Baylon will once again voice Jonas, whom he voiced in the Grave robber, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider video games.

Based on Square Enix’s action-adventure video game franchise, the Grave robber the anime was first announced earlier this year. It will be written and produced by Tasha Huo (The Witcher: Origin of Blood). Ready to pick up after the events of the famous reboot trilogy that ended in 2018 Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the series will retrace the latest and greatest adventure of the globe-trotting heroine as she continues to explore new territories.
The new Netflix anime will be produced by dj2 Entertainment founder and CEO Dmitri M. Johnson (Sonic the hedgehog), Stephan Bugaj, Howard Bliss and Jacob Robinson for Tractor Pants.

Currently, MGM is developing a Grave robber sequel to the action film directed by Alicia Vikander in 2018, starring Lovecraft Country creator attached to the helm and writing of the project. Despite her long period of development, the Oscar-winning actress is still expected to reprise her lead role.
