1. Empire of Corpses

Directed by Ryoutarou Makihara, The Corpse Empire is a 2015 science fiction adventure film. This film is one of a series of films based on the novels written by Satoshi Itoh. Although it was made in 2015, the animation of this film can rival that of animated films of the current era.

In the 19th century, humans developed science to the point where they can use the dead as laborers. But although they can move and work, these corpses miss the main element of a human body, which is the soul. Dr. Watson, a medical student, is doing illegal research on the souls of the dead, for which he must seek Victor Frankenstein’s notes. These notes carry the secret of the only corpse attached to the soul.

2. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: Decisive Battle of Unato

TV series, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is one of Wit Studio’s finest works, and this film is the sequel to it. While testing an anti-Kabane weapon, Ikomi becomes infected and transforms into a human Kabane hybrid. The film, Unato Deceisice Battle takes the story six months into the future from where the TV series was left off. The team joins an alliance to take over Utano Castle, but things don’t go as planned.

3. Pokemon the Movie: Our Power
