Japanese fans rate the most impressive modern animated films
Over the past 10 years, anime as an industry has grown tremendously, in part thanks to the massive box office growth of animated films in theaters in Japan. Japanese Rankingoo survey site demand 10,314 people ranging from teenagers to 60 years old, what they thought was tthe most impressive animated film of the last decade, with the exception of the sequels of animated films and television compilation films (therefore no Demon Slayer: Mugen Train). Of complete list out of 20 on the Rankingoo site, here is the top 10:

See both in full Makoto shinkai made animated films and the Mamoru hosoda movies made in the top 10 come as no surprise, but none of the movies from the early 2010s Studio Ghibli movies, which includes Hayao miyazakiis then the last movie The wind picks up and Isao Takahata‘s Princess Kaguya, are on the list, which is surprising!
