Yuasa (DEVILMAN crybaby, Surf your wave, Japan Sink: 2020) directed the film. Manga creator Taiyo Matsumoto wrote the original character designs for INU-OH in his second collaboration with Yuasa, who directed the Matsumoto anime Ping pong manga. Akiko Nogi wrote his first animated film after scripting live works such as I am a hero, We got married like a job!, and Unnatural.
