Based on creator Gege Akutami’s one-shot manga titled TOkyo Metropolitan Curse Technical Schoolthe film is a successful action-packed prequel, making it a great setup for fans getting into the Jujutsu Kaisen series.

Unlike Yuji Itadori, who is a hyperactive extrovert of Jujutsu Kaisenthe previous film’s lead role, Yuta Okkotsu, is a shy and troubled teenager.

Bullied, Okkotsu is also overwhelmed by a giant curse. However, this curse ensures that his bullies are taken care of for good.

Rika Orimoto, who is the curse of Okkotsu, was his childhood friend but sadly passed away. Now she has become his shadow and kills anyone who may be a threat to him.

Satoru Gojo, who teaches at Tokyo Jujutsu High, discovers Okkotsu and sees potential in him. Gojo decides to guide his curse in the right direction.

Okkotsu joins the prestigious academy and trains alongside his excellent classmates – Maki Zenin, Panda and Toge Inumaki.

    She longs to unravel the enchanting mysteries of the abyss. Riko teams up with Reg and Nanachi to kick off their journey into the abyss.

    As they reach the fifth layer of the chasm, they encounter a mysterious girl named Prushka.

    Akira was released in 1988 and achieved cult status in the anime fandom. Based on the manga series by Katsuhiro Otomo, Akira follows Kaneda who is on a mission to protect his friend Tetsuo from a secret government organization.

    In 1988, an explosion ripped through Tokyo and it was revealed that the explosion was caused by a boy with psychic powers. The boy was then taken into custody.

    The story fast forwards to 2019 with a new updated city called Neo Tokyo. In the city, Kaneda leads the Capsules, a group of bikers who are at odds with a rival gang known as the Clowns.

    During one of the conflicts, Tetsuo is caught in an accident and ends up developing mysterious abilities.

    Now the government wants to quarantine Tetsuo as they fear he will set off another explosion again and destroy the city again.

    Class 1-A at UA High School is ready for their summer vacation. Izuku Midoriya (aka Deku) receives an invitation to attend I-Expo, an exhibition focusing on Quirk abilities and hero items.

    Midoriya accompanies All Might and the duo arrive at the exhibit on I-Island.

    At the expo, Midoriya meets a girl named Melissa, and turns out that she is Quirkless, like Midoriya once was. The duo start talking and exploring the expo.

    Meanwhile, the exhibit’s security system is hacked by the bad guys. After investigation, it is revealed that a mysterious group of villains have broken into the island.

    Now Midoriya and his comrades must confront the forces of evil using their Quirks and expose their sinister plan.

  4. Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Supreme Sovereign Egg

    Guts, a directionless mercenary, fights one battle at a time. But his life changes when he meets a charismatic man named Griffith.

    Griffith leads the Band of Hawk, which is a mercenary army. As soon as Guts joins the military, he and Griffith begin to bond on a deeper level.

    The pair begin to fight together and Griffith reaches new heights. However, Griffith hides his sinister motives from Guts as he desires something bigger than just winning the war.

  5. My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising

    Midoriya and his classmates from Class 1-A at UA High School are asked by their mentor All Might to do a special project.

    This project involves Class 1-A training the next generation of heroes. The project takes them to a quiet island in southern Japan.

    Midoriya and his friends are tasked with working as heroes and helping the citizens in their daily lives. This is a low effort mission and the heroes have enough time to relax.

    However, soon the calm on the island is disturbed after bad guys infiltrate it, and the evil forces start destroying the island’s facilities.

    A villain named Nine leads the pack of villains. Midoriya, Bakugou, and the best of Class 1-A must join forces to fight against Nine and the villain army.

  6. Dragon Ball Super: Super heroes

    Similar to Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Dragon Ball Super: Super Heroes turns the spotlight from the franchise’s main protagonist to some lesser-known supporting characters.

    Gohan, Goku’s eldest son, and Piccolo, Gohan’s teacher, take center stage and bring the movie home. The film’s main villain is the Red Ribbon Army, an evil organization that has already been defeated by Goku.

    The new generation of villains are led by Magenta who tricks Dr. Gero’s grandson into believing that Capsule Corp. is an evil corporation working closely with aliens.

    Now the Red Ribbon Army is building two super androids to battle these imaginary aliens.

    Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta are unavailable while Gohan remains out of practice. It’s on Piccolo to rise up and protect the planet.

  7. My Hero Academia: World Hero Mission

    A cult of anti-quirk criminals wreaks havoc and destroys a city after they release a gas that drives people’s powers crazy.

    The heroes spread across the world and try to find the person responsible for the attack.

    Midoriya, Todoroki and Bakugou, who are part of the Endeavor team, are heading to Otheon, a country in Europe.

    However, Midoriya is framed for mass murder and is on the run with a criminal.

    Otheon police and cult members are now actively searching for Midoriya.

  8. Demon Slayer: Mugen Train

    Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu are ready for their next mission. The trio are summoned to aid Flame Pillar Kyōjurō Rengoku as he investigates the disappearances on the Mugen train.

    More than 40 people have disappeared in a short time and a certain demon is hiding behind. Rengoku, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke team up to fight the demon on the Mugen train.
